About Me
I’m a wife and mum of two. I’ve dedicated my career to teaching and senior leadership. I’m passionate about making a real impact and improving children’s lives and education.
In 2009, I graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a 2:1 BA (QTS). I later became a primary school teacher in South Leeds and was quickly promoted to EYFS leader and phonics lead. In 2015, I became the Assistant Headteacher, responsible for KS1, Assessment, and Safeguarding at an inner-city school in South Leeds. During this time, I had my own children, and following my second maternity leave, I was promoted to a seconded position of Deputy Head.

IIn September 2022, I was appointed Head of Early Years at Woodhouse Grove School, where I led the team and successfully completed an ISI inspection for Ashdown Lodge. Unfortunately, I was made redundant due to the school’s financial challenges and recent tax implications affecting independent schools.

In September 2024, I founded Little Classroom to address the national school readiness crisis and improve educational outcomes for primary school children. My goal was to create a tuition centre that offers early years and primary education through play-based learning, helping children build confidence, make rapid progress, and support their individual learning journeys. We also provide classes for home-educated children, alongside essential support and guidance for parents.
