Welcome to our specialist early years and primary learning centre in Leeds, supporting children aged 3 to 11 to learn, play and grow with confidence.

We offer small-group sessions, home education classes and after-school programmes, all designed to build skills in reading, writing and maths while nurturing a love of learning through play and practical resources.

Our calm and welcoming environment encourages children to explore, discover and enjoy learning, with every session child-led and tailored to individual needs. We help children gain confidence, achieve outcomes and make real progress.

What really helps me when teaching is having my resources right at my fingertips. It means I can quickly adapt my teaching and support children as they learn. If they get stuck, I can show them straight away using visual examples, which really helps their understanding and makes learning stick.

This is especially important for younger learners, which is why I choose to work face to face rather than online. Being there in person means I can respond straight away, show things clearly, and adjust what I’m doing to suit each child and their needs.

It’s amazing where life takes you. When you put your mind to something, you really can build and create your own path.

One of the things I truly love about Little Classroom is the range of families I have met over time. I really value building genuine relationships with them and learning how best to support them and their children.

I have conversations with parents on a daily basis about the possibility of home education. One thing I always say is that it can be incredible for some children and families, and not the right option for others. What is right for one child might be school, and for another it might be home education. Every child is different. It is a big decision and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. But if it is the right choice, there are many different ways to do it. That is the beauty of home education. It is completely unique, and every family does it differently. There is no right or wrong way.

At Little Classroom, I support home educating families by providing small-group learning opportunities. Children take part in teacher-led sessions to help with curriculum-based reading, writing and maths, ensuring they make progress while building a real love for learning and achieving positive educational outcomes.

Such a lovely week! I just love hearing feedback from parents about how well their children are doing and what a difference coming to me is making. It’s comments like this that make me so happy!

Even though it’s been cold outside, inside our classroom it’s been cosy, warm, calm and so lovely, creating the perfect environment for children to learn and make progress in this special space I call my Little Classroom.
