Let’s Teach After School

This class caters to a small group of primary school-aged children after school. It combines three sessions: Let’s Read, Let’s Write, and Let’s Count. Please refer to the timetable for different group times and class lengths, or get in touch to find a suitable class. Sessions are currently running for Reception, Key Stage One, and Lower Key Stage Two.

Let’s Read

Let's Read aims to foster a love of reading, enhance reading fluency, and improve comprehension skills through a variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. We will boost your child's confidence in phonics, blending, and segmenting, while incorporating enjoyable activities and games to reinforce their learning

Let’s Write

Let’s Write helps children in Reception, KS1, and LKS2 develop their writing and fine motor skills. Sessions begin with fun shared writing, focusing on ideas, phonics, tricky words, SPaG, punctuation, and letter formation, followed by exciting hands-on activities that spark a love of writing.

Let’s Count

Let’s Count supports children in building strong maths skills across number, place value, time, fractions, calculation, shape, space, and measure. Children develop confidence as mathematicians, using reasoning and problem-solving to explain their thinking with clear mathematical language.
