Let’s Teach After School

This class caters to a small group of primary school-aged children after school. It combines three sessions: Let’s Read, Let’s Write, and Let’s Count. Please refer to the timetable for different group times and class lengths, or get in touch to find a suitable class. Sessions are currently running for Reception, Key Stage One, and Key Stage Two.

Let’s Read

Let's Read aims to foster a love of reading, enhance reading fluency, and improve comprehension skills through a variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. We will boost your child's confidence in phonics, blending, and segmenting, while incorporating enjoyable activities and games to reinforce their learning

Let’s Write

Let's Write helps children with their writing skills and fine motor skills. The creative writing session begins with a teacher's input of shared writing, concentrating on teaching the basics of ideas, sounding out words, tricky words, punctuation, and letter formation. Immersive writing activities follow the group activity in provision areas to provide the ultimate excitement of writing.

Let’s Count

Let's Count helps children with their mathematical knowledge and understanding of numbers, place value, time, fraction, calculation, shape, space, and measure. The children will become confident mathematicians and be able to explain their thoughts and answers using mathematical language.
