Hi, I’m Jenna Thompson, the proud owner and first franchisee of Little Classroom™, and the lead teacher at our second site in the
South Kirkby location.

Little Classroom™ has allowed me to bring my dream classroom to life and to offer children the opportunity to learn in a setting that reflects what I truly believe is right for children. Creating a calm, nurturing and child centred environment has been at the heart of this journey.

I have over 19 years’ experience in education, including senior leadership roles within four schools in Wakefield and Barnsley. My roles have included Key Stage One Leader, Assessment Co-ordinator, Safeguarding Lead, Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and most recently Headteacher. Throughout my career, I have held responsibility for teaching and learning, and remained active as a teacher throughout. I am incredibly passionate about education and have ensured that children have always remained at the centre of every decision. I have strived to ensure that high quality education has met the needs of the individual and that all children have felt loved and safe allowing them to flourish in their development both academically and socially.

Our face to face learning centre is based in South Kirkby, Wakefield, at 9 Hague Park Coppice, close to Ackworth, Nostell, Badsworth and Walton.

Little Classroom™ has been thoughtfully created within our home and garden, offering a natural, calm and safe environment where children are supported to learn, play and grow with confidence.
